Greetings in the bond of service to music!

Sisters of Tau Beta Sigma, Chapter Sponsors, and Directors of Bands,

Greetings in the bond of service to music! We hope that each of you are doing well and that each of you have found the time during these past summer months to rest and recharge as we move into another year of service to college bands! As we embark on the new biennium, I hope that you all will join me as we engage, serve, and lead as a more purpose-driven organization.

Each of us plays a unique role in Tau Beta Sigma’s mission and purpose, and what we do in our individual roles has a ripple effect on those around us. In the next two years, the programming we facilitate on the chapter, district, and national levels should constantly reflect who we are: Tau Beta Sigma, For Greater Bands! I challenge our members to think deeply about our mission and purposes  and how you can activate them in each project and interaction with your surrounding community.

As summer band rehearsals and band service projects begin to rev up, the National Leadership Team would like to share some information to assist each chapter with meeting national obligations during the 2023-2024  school year.

Enclosed with this packet is information regarding National Paperwork Obligations, and other Tau Beta Sigma initiatives and practices. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of your District Counselors. A list of District Counselors and their contact information is available at https://www.tbsigma.org/districtcounselors/. Alternatively, you may also email council@tbsigma.org to direct a question to the TBSigma National Council.

For Greater Bands!
