Tau Beta Sigma’s 80th Anniversary Capital Campaign

Celebrating 80 Years of Service, Sisterhood, and Music

The traditional symbol for an 80th Anniversary is Oak. The oak tree is a powerful symbol of strength, longevity, wisdom, and endurance. With deep roots and ever-reaching branches, the oak grows slowly but steadily, weathering storms and thriving through generations. It is a symbol of both legacy and potential.

For eight decades, Tau Beta Sigma has been rooted in the powerful purpose of serving college bands, empowering women in music, and fostering Sisterhood through service. Like the oak, we have stood strong through seasons of change, drawing strength from our foundational Values while reaching upward to meet the needs of the future.

As we celebrate our 80th Anniversary, we proudly launch Rooted in Purpose, Reaching for Tomorrow – a capital campaign that honors the legacy we’ve cultivated and plants new seeds for growth. This campaign is more than a fundraiser – it is a reflection of our founding and history, who we are today, and what we boldly envision for the future. Together, we will nurture our legacy and ensure that the branches of our Sorority continue to grow strong for generations to come.
