The Zeta Iota chapter (#153) was installed at Jackson State University on May 6, 1978. Charter members include: Eddye Lane, Sherrion Lewis, Vanessa Mozee, Varetta Shankle, Gloria Walker, Juanita Williams, Cheryl Wilson, Harold Haughton, John Jones, Dollye Robinson, Barbara Lewis, Anna Martin, Sandra Toney, and Joann White.
