The Zeta Alpha Chapter(#145) was installed at Illinois State University on May 9th, 1976. Tau Beta Sigma National Secretary Kay Long served as the installing officer. The Beta Sigma Chapter at Purdue University served as the Advising Chapter. Charter Members Include: Deborah Gross, Rita Helt, Carol Hoerner, Kathleen Hoerner, Karen Kluever, Sharon Niezgoda Lundy, Nancy Schiavitti, Patirica Seino Gordon, Kay Ward, and Honorary Member George Foeller (Director of Bands).
