The Iota Lambda Chapter (#227) was installed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on April 19, 2008. The Epsilon Alpha Chapter at the University of South Carolina performed the Ritual and installation ceremony and Vice President for Communications and Recognition Deena Smith was the installing officer. Tau Beta Sigma member Julia Gideon served as the colony advisor. Charter members include: Sharita Godwin, Yvette Hairston, Katelyn Keith, Ronae Lowe, Kelly Slack, Kelly West, Kellie Sawyer, Christaina Meares Taylor, Anne Dvorak.
