Tau Beta Sigma promotes the empowerment of women in the band profession.

In an effort to uphold this facet of the Sorority’s mission, the national leadership has developed the Bandswomen Networking Program. This program develops a place where women music educators can find a more specific niche in which to network and find other individuals in the band profession. The Tau Beta Sigma leadership will occasionally offer prompts for discussion, but most discussion is generated by the members of the group.
