The Gamma Omicron chapter (#87) was installed at Southern State College (now Southern Arkansas University) on February 12, 1966. Kappa Kappa Psi Grant Secretary / Treasurer Richard Worthington served as the installing officer, and the Psi Chapter served as the installing chapter. Charter members include: Bonnie (Cupples) Chamberlain, Mary Alice Colquitt, Patricia Ann Davis, Francene (Gladden) Grantom, Carole Ann Koenig, Vicki Nix, Sherry Jean (Parker) Calkins, Reta Rozita (Revis) Dean, Linda Ruth Reynolds, Sharon Lynn Smith, Dolores Dalen Baer, and Betty L. (Oglesby) Black.
