The Epsilon Beta chapter (#122) was installed at East Texas State University on January 16, 1972. Tau Beta Sigma Immediate Past National President and Board of Trustees member Ladine Housholder served as installing officer, and Beta Delta served as advising chapter. Charter members include: Vicki Lynette Drew, Mary Kuyrk (Shrier) Greene, Jennifer Hall, Jane Ann Harris, Patricia Ann (McKinney) Highfill, Jayne Eileen Lawyer, Marcy Murdock, Sarah L. Smith, Judy Wyninegar, Neill H. Humfeld, and Mrs. Neill H. Humfeld.
